Mexico City to host “Milton Santos, 25 Years Later: Is Another Globalization Still Possible?” on November 24

The Embaixada do Brasil no México invites the community to attend the conference “Milton Santos, 25 Years Later: Is Another Globalization Still Possible?”, to be held on Monday, November 24, at Instituto Guimarães Rosa in Mexico City.

The conference will reflect on the legacy of Milton Santos, one of Latin America’s most influential geographers, and explore how his ideas remain a vital tool for understanding and transforming today’s globalized world.

The free, in-person event will take place on November 24 at 7:00 p.m. local time at Instituto Guimarães Rosa. It is intended especially for those interested in Geography, History, International Relations, critical studies, globalization, and social development.
