A little more than the first-person plural, a little more than several “I”s. Nós and nosotros indicate that we constitute ourselves in relation to others: we form knots—nós—and become nosotros. These are ways of making ties, relationships, and discourses through encounters with others who differ from oneself and from what is the same. Knots intertwine to form a network in relation to others. Nós and nosotros express our hope that the names that follow will represent the many others who will come to intertwine with them, weaving nós-otros into a network.
