Walderez Ramalho is a professor in the Department of History at Universidade do Estado de Santa Catarina (UDESC). He coordinates the research project “Policronias do presente”. His main areas of focus are Theory and Philosophy of History, Contemporary History, and Historiography. His research interests center on time policies in the contemporary world, the diversity of historical times, and their reverberations in public space, particularly in struggles for rights, justice, and accountability.
