PhD in Education, Arts and Humanities; Master’s degree in Human Rights, Master’s degree in Higher Education and Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from Faculdade de Filosofia e Letras da Universidade Autónoma de Chihuahua. She is a member of the National System of Researchers at candidate level. Her research focuses on historical consciousness, youth, and vulnerability. Since 2003, she has developed and implemented projects in civil society organizations and participated in all five stages of the ConstruyeT public policy for high school education. She is currently developing a project funded through SECIHTI’s call for proposals in Humanistic Science for the period 2025–2027, carried out in an interdisciplinary manner together with the commission to eradicate all forms of violence against girls, boys and adolescents from COPREVNNA, established by SIPINNA.
She completed several specialization courses, including: Specialist in Trauma and Psychosocial Intervention (2024–2025), “Abrindo Caminhos: Criatividade, Arte e Arteterapia” from UNAM, Popular Education by IMDEC, Organizational Development through CEFOSC at Tecnológico de Monterrey, Reading for Children in Guadalajara and English course from Faculdade de Filosofia e Letras. She served as a project evaluator at INDESOL on topics of women, youth, indigenous peoples, and social assistance, and was part of the Analysis Team of Rede Nacional de Organizações Civis Todos los Derechos para Todas y Todos (Table: Gender Equity).
She has publications in scientific journals and book chapters in COMIE’s state-of-knowledge publications. She is a member of REDIECH, SOMEHIDE and AMEFI, and also serves on the Social Prevention Council for Violence and Delinquency (COPREV). Currently, she is a faculty member at Universidade Pedagógica Nacional, Chihuahua campus, and in the Master’s Program in History of Faculdade de Filosofia e Letras da UACH.
