Organized scientific meetings, chaired sessions, and acted as a commentator and debater at national and international events in the area. Member of academic committees and editorial boards of specialized journals nationally and internationally. Was Director of the journal Folia Histórica del Nordeste. Was Director of Instituto de Investigações Geohistóricas (UNNE-CONICET) and Secretary-General for Science and Technology at UNNE (2014–2022).
