
Biography:
Belén Arribalzaga is a PhD candidate in Philosophy at Universidade de Buenos Aires, Master’s degree in Gender Studies and Policies (UNTREF) and Professor of History (UBA). Currently, she teaches History in secondary schools located in vulnerable neighborhoods in Buenos Aires, at the “Joaquín V. González” and at the “Instituto Superior de Formación Docente N°131”, where she teaches the subjects “Direitos Humanos, Sociedade e Estado” and “Educação Sexual Integral”.
She is part of the Grupo de Pesquisa em Filosofia Aplicada e Políticas Queer (PolQueer, UBA) and the Research and Development Project “Violencia estructural, espacios y sujetos sociales: abordajes teóricos y aplicados desde un enfoque interdisciplinario y multisituado” (UNTREF), both directed by Dr. Moira Pérez. Her research focuses on philosophical analyses of Public History, particularly regarding heritage (archives, museums, and monuments) related to the indigenous genocide in Argentina.
