Associate Professor in the Department of History at Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (UERJ) and recipient of the Pro-Science UERJ (2022-2025/2025-2028). Researcher at COMUM-UERJ and the NUBHES-UERJ. I served on the board of directors of Sociedade Brasileira de Teoria e História da Historiografia from 2021 to 2024, acting as secretary general. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in History from UERJ (2004), a Master’s and Doctorate in Social History of Culture from PUC-Rio. My expertise lies in the fields of Theory of History, History of Historiography, and Teaching of History, with a focus on epistemologies of history, modernity/coloniality, historicism, Brazilian historiography, and theory and teaching of history. Currently, I am engaged in research on feminist epistemologies and gender debates in contemporary Brazilian society. I am the author of the book “Ensaio Feminista sobre o Sujeito Universal”.
