Biography:
Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music (2005) and a Licentiate degree in History (2014) from Universidade Federal do Estado do Rio de Janeiro, a Master’s degree (2008) and a Doctorate (2012) in Social History of Culture from the Pontifical Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro, both under the supervision of Ilmar H. Mattos. Was a FAPERJ scholarship holder during the Doctorate period and acted as a Post-Doctoral researcher at UFRRJ (2013) and UFOP (2014). Currently, is an associate professor at Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro, Maracanã Campus, coordinates ProfHistória-UERJ and is part of the Graduate Program in Social History (PPGHS). Has experience in the field of History, with emphasis on Theory and Teaching of History, History of Historiography, Brazilian Empire, and Contemporary History.
