He is a professor at Instituto Federal do Espírito Santo (IFES – Campus Guarapari) and a permanent member of the Graduate Program in Humanities Education (PPGEH/IFES). He works in the field of Intellectual History, with an emphasis on Theory and Philosophy of History, History of Concepts, History of Historiography, History of Science, Global History, historical consciousness, critique of Eurocentrism, and teaching of History and Humanities. His research focuses on the relationships between historiography, education, and ethical-critical formation in the school environment. Ph.D. in History from Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo (2017), he conducted research and training at institutions such as the Adam Mickiewicz University (Poland) and Europa-Universität Viadrina (Germany). He is a productivity fellow of FAPES and member of LETHIS-UFES, of SBTHH and of INTH.
