
Biography:
He is a professor and holds a Bachelor’s degree in History from Faculdade de Ciências Humanas da Universidad Nacional de Río Cuarto (UNRC, 2003 e 2008). Subsequently, he obtained his Ph.D. in History from Faculdade de Filosofia e Humanidades da Universidad Nacional de Córdoba (UNC, 2015). His research focuses on the problematic relationship between Historiography, Memory, and Politics in contemporary Argentina, as well as on the History of Argentine historiography.
His teaching career has developed uninterruptedly at public national universities in Argentina (UNRC and UNC), having been appointed to various positions through competitive examinations. Currently, he serves as a Full Professor by Competitive Examination (exclusive dedication) in the Department of History at Faculdade de Ciências Humanas (UNRC), responsible for courses on Argentine Historiography, Seminar on Historiography and Theories of History. He also teaches the course on History of Education in the Department of Educational Sciences of the same faculty. Additionally, he has taught numerous postgraduate courses and seminars in his area of specialization.
In terms of university management, he was elected Director of the Department of History at Faculdade de Ciências Humanas da UNRC from 2017 to 2021. He is Coordinator and member of the Academic Committee of the Red Argentina de Historia de la Historiografía. He has authored several books and published numerous articles and chapters, as well as organized works on local history and on the history of historiography. He actively participates in national and international academic events as coordinator, commentator, rapporteur, panelist, presenter, and keynote speaker. He is dedicated to advising and co-advising undergraduate and postgraduate theses, and has served on evaluation committees for teaching competitions and postgraduate thesis evaluations. He also collaborates as a reviewer for specialized journals.
