Professor in the Department of History and the PhD Program in Iberian History at UNIFAL-MG, where he coordinates the Laboratory for Climate Policies and Antropocene Historicities (LaPACHA). Graduated in History (Licentiate and Bachelor) from Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto (2007), Master’s degree in History from Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto (2010) and Doctorate in History from Universidade de Campinas (2018), with a Sandwich Doctoral Period at University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth, EUA. Developed, between 2021 and 2022, a post-doctoral fellowship in the PhD Program in History of Universidade Federal do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (PPGH-UNIRIO), research line “Patrimônio, Ensino de História e Historiografia”, researching the ontological-epistemological and narrative impacts of discussions about the Antropocene in the field of history theory and historiography. Author of books, articles, and book chapters in the area of History, with emphasis on History Theory, Historiography, Intellectual History, Transnational History, Social Sciences History, and Critical Heritage Studies. Currently dedicated to research and activities related to the impacts of discussions about the Antropocene on historiographic production and heritage policies.
